Hard Lighting

The distinct shadows show the hardness of the sun’s light.

Soft Lighting

The absence of distinct shadowed lines denotes this as soft lighting.

Top Lighting

This photo is a mixture of different lighting. My goal for this one was to get top lighting, but there is a strong rim light As well as the halo from the top light. The glass to the right of frame is bouncing the light and acting as fill.
